The Flying Pig had been making some noise prior to its Grand Opening. They were selling at the Homemade Market on the weekend where the reviews and feedback for their Ribs and Chicken was nothing but positive. I can see why!
All their main course dishes stand on their own. Everything I had was perfectly grilled, well-seasoned and it was just damn good. There is no other way to say it. It would come down to your meat/taste preference when choosing a dish. For me, it was hard to choose between the Ribs and the Lamb Chops. When I go back I would probably just order both so I didn’t have to decide!
Grilling Meat especially chicken takes years to master and, many times people undercook the meat but mostly many tend to OVER cook meats. This results in a dry, tough and inedible meal. The Grill Master at The Flying Pig doesn’t have this problem! The bbq chicken was charcoal grilled to perfection. Tender, Tasty and most importantly Juicy.
Don’t take my word for it. If you’re in Chiang Mai and are craving a good bbq you must try The Flying Pig.
